Just a quick update...

Bellhouse Road is confirmed for 26th Jan so hopefully see you there. Gigs are starting to fill up now, with some new venues we have not played before. Jesters at Ackworth is one of those venues which looks like an ex WMC taken over so should be a good night. New Walton Club in sunny Hull on 1st March by all accounts is a great gig, we have insider info from a fan of the band who once attended a wedding and danced to Jive Bunny at that very venue!. Also we are glad to be back at the Victory Club in Hull because its not only a great venue but it has THE CHEAPEST BEER IN ENGLAND....... HURRAY!!!!!!!!! Hull we salute you !!!!

We hope to keep you all entertained this year with some new bits and pieces in the show, we once tried to be sensible but unfortunately it was not for us mainly because we are all mental...

Keep smiling and be happy

AUGUST 2007
Just a quick update. Most of August and September, the band are away on holidays. We have been busy in the rehearsal room and we now have some new materiel in the second half, look out for Arctic Monkeys, Sweet and others. Oh and Frankie has a new suit! Don't know what everyone else thinks but the smoking ban has seen clubs a bit fuller, the only down side is that Ozzy can't spark up on stage anymore!
Have a great summer. (wots left of it!) and see you at a club near you soon.

Hi, sorry for long period of time with no update. Thanks to everyone who has been to see the band since January. We have had lots of positive and funny messages on the guest book, thanks to all of you who took the time out to post. We now have a new sketch in the first half of the show. Elton John complete with pinball machine. Those of you who have seen it told us you loved it. We keep trying to tweak the show and make changes. A while back we mentioned how hard it is to change the show. Just to give you a flavour. The Elton sketch took 3 full rehearsals, involved building a pinball machine complete with explosion from scratch (thanks lee!!), and several quick costume changes that all need to be perfectly done to the music. Then we have to make it funny! One concert sec recently said to us 'thanks lads that was great, but when you come back can you do a completely different 1st spot cos we have seen it now'............ yeah right!!
Thanks to the Victory Club near Hull for selling what the barman proudly said was 'the cheapest lager in England'. £1.15 a pint before 7pm and £1.35 after! Wow we woz bladdered!!

Gig front is a bit up and down, these days they seem to come in late rather than well in advance, so keep checking, as we try to update that bit of the site whenever we can.

Ok hope your all happy! see you soon at a gig near you.

JANUARY 2007
Well the festive season is over, and we look forward to entertaining you all this new year. We had a great time at Bellhouse Road club. Fantastic crowd and great atmosphere on both nights. Good to see a club doing well and the committee and staff there have to take a lot of the credit, a good example of how to run a WMC successfully. Well done!!
Check out the gig page for updates. It's usually very quiet in Jan and Feb for all acts, but we are around the area.
We hope to take advantage of this quiet period to refresh the show, some new songs in the second half, and one or two new sketches in the first bit. To be honest the second spot is relatively easy to do, just learn a new song and play it! The first spot is slightly different in that we have to learn a song and then create a funny sketch around it, buy costumes, and get the comedy timing right, while at the same time planning costume changes etc and continuity into the next song. Next time you come to see the show, have a think about what is going on behind the scenes to make it all look seamless, with no embarrassing pauses etc. Believe us it's not easy!!

If anyone has any suggestions or requests for songs then let us know on the guest book. We have had lots of requests for the Glam Rock stuff we did years ago in the second half, so look out for that. Also people always ask for the 'crazy arses' and ' big pliers around the goolies' sketches, so you never know!! (for those of you who have no clue what we are talking about you will have to wait and see!!)

I any of you are wondering 'how come they never play our club?' then please ask your committee representative / concert sec to book us!!

Happy New year to everyone and we hope 2007 brings lots of luck for you.

November 2006
Hi folks, hope your all well. It's been a really busy and eventful time for the band in the last 6 weeks. We have been to some great venues and had a lot of fun!
Highlights were stoppin over at Pontins in Yarmouth we had a real laugh and lots of beer! Also RAF Cranwell which was a great night especially as the lager was 97p a pint! then as an added bonus they had happy hour! two for one, some of the band were struggling to stand up by the end! The RAF were a great laugh and very hospitable. Although the guards with big guns were to be avoided!
Plonpton Mill Bar near York was a great night, fantastic family orientated venue, where they all went for it big time on the Halloween fancy dress. Also usual gigs like Bellhouse were great!!!

Bit quiet now, leading intoXmas then it all starts again.

Hope to see ya all soon, and thanks for all the kind messages on the guest book.
